President’s Welcome Message

Welcome to the official website of the Covington Area Alumnae Chapter (CAAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Since its chartering in 2014, the Covington Area Alumnae Chapter has been committed to providing service to the citizens of Newton and Walton counties and upholding the ideals and principles of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is a not-for-profit organization founded on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two collegiate women at Howard University with the purpose of providing assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world.

The Covington Area Alumnae Chapter values partnerships with other civic, corporate, and Greek-lettered organizations within our community. Our goal is to foster these relationships to improve the lives of the people in our service area. We invite you to partner with us by attending our public programs, supporting our fundraisers and participating in our community service outreach projects.

If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and are new to the area or looking for a chapter to call home, consider joining CAAC. I would like to personally extend a warm invitation to our chapter meetings, community projects or sisterhood events. We are a chapter ready to welcome new members as we SOAR to higher heights!

Yours in Service and Sisterhood,

Iris Ely Stover, President

Covington Area Alumnae Chapter
